Here are some video clips captured from the Barn Owl box at Arglam Farm. There only 720p format with no sound. (hoping to upgrade next year).
This first video clip show the Female Barn Owl sharing the mouse out amongst all three offspring. You can clearly see the first hatched on the right!
After a few weeks two of the Owlets didnt make it, im not 100% certain what happened as the male was finding enough food. This clip show the Female preening one of the weakest, when she realises it wont make it she has to make use of the protein for the remaining Owlet.
A few weeks pass and shes managed to keep one Owlet fit and healthy. Hes now growing up fast with allot of the tail and wing feather in formation, and the facial disc been defined nicely.
